Overview[]
When Ben was 10 years old he went on a camping trip with his grandfather, Max and cousin, Gwen. On their first night above the Earth two spaceships were battling, one carrying Azmuth a Galvan Scientist and one carrying Vilgax, an evil dictator. Azmuth managed to shoot down Vilgax's ship, killing Vilgax. Throughout their summer trip Ben, Gwen and Max got extremely close and Max even told them the secret about his Plumbers life. They swore to secrecy about it. Max explained to them about the legendary Omnitrix. During their trip, due to not being an alien, when Ben meets Kai they become close friends. At age 15 Ben and Kai begin dating. While on a date Ben and Kai are approached by Azmuth who explains himself and gives Ben the Omnitrix with 10 aliens unlocked.
